TIPS TO BOOK CHEAP COST EFFECTIVE FLIGHTS TO KENYA

  • Flights booked for departures between June – Mid August and December – Mid January will be the most expensive. Flight Fares B begin at around £ 400 with British Airways if booked early and about £ 420 with Kenya Airways. The advantage is that you can book up to twelve months in advance.

A cheaper option is an indirect flight, with prices starting from as little as £ 250 for a return ticket. Airlines to consider include;

ElAl via Israel and Gulf Air,

Emirates or Saudia via the Gulf,

KLM via the Netherlands.

The only British Airport that offers direct scheduled flights to Nairobi,Kenya is Heathrow Airport. There are also several charter operators with whom you can get seats – only to Mombasa-out of London or Manchester from around £ 350.

If you are flying from Ireland, there are convenient through-connections from Dublin on British Airways daily via London Gatwick(overnight) and KLM via Amsterdam(Mon,Wed and Fri).

If you fly out from Belfast, the only good connections are on British Airways daily via London Gatwick(overnight).

Flights from South Africa,Australia and New Zealand to Kenya

South African Airways and Kenya Airways are the only two airlines that fly directly into Nairobi from Johannesburg.

There are no direct flights from Australia or New Zealand-they will all require a stopover either in Asia, South Africa, or in the flight carriers home city. The airlines to consider from Australia are via Johannesburg with South African Airlines, via Harare Quantas and Air Zimbabwe, or via Singapore and Mauritius with Quantas and Air Mauritius
